proud to boast a Native American workforce of approximately 97%

Philanthropy

Jacobs Tobacco Company is a leading promoter of the Akwesasne community. Our company has established a 501C-3 for the purpose of receiving charitable contributions. The 501C-3 was established in January 2008 to allow Jacobs Tobacco Company and other local companies to donate to community causes. The scope of Jacobs Tobacco Company’s philanthropy encompasses strengthening our Native American Culture and  Language, providing positive Youth Activities, supporting Health Initiatives,  Ambulance and Fire Department, programs for the Elderly and a ‘Hat and Mitten Fund’ for local elementary students. In 2007, Jacobs Tobacco Company charitable contributions were over $ 30,000.00.
